Once you place your order, we begin by gathering the information you provide along with your reference images. From there, we construct a precise portrait of your boat, incorporating the details and colors of the deck fittings, rigging, lines, blocks, winches, as well as your boat’s name, logo, and any distinctive visual elements such as decals or markings. The text below may include the relevant specifications - club, marina or body of water, sail number, boat class, owner’s name, and any additional details of your choosing.
You will receive a draft for review and approval. Once approved, the final portrait is printed, framed if selected, and shipped to your address.
2. The Print Option
The final image is printed on premium archival matte paper—a smooth, neutral-white paper designed for high-quality fine art reproduction. It ensures accurate color rendering, strong contrast, and high resolution, while remaining acid-free for long-term durability with pigment inks.
The paper features a substantial weight (230 gsm), a thick base (9.5 mil), and an instant-dry coating that resists fingerprints and smudging.

Prints are shipped in sturdy protective cardboard tubes. Each piece is carefully rolled with interleaving paper to preserve the surface and ensure safe, easy handling upon unpacking.
Handling Recommendations Due to the absorptive nature of the coating, direct contact with the printed surface should be avoided. The use of cotton gloves is recommended when handling.
3. The Frame Option
Your print, as described bove, is placed in a frame. Each frame is made by hand and arrives ready to hang. It is carefully prepared, packaged and guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition.
The mat is a Peterboro Whitecore matboard, recognized for its conservation-quality standards. Made from high alpha cellulose and buffered with calcium carbonate, it provides a bright white core and long-term stability.
