Frequently asked Questions
FAQ
What makes Contour different?
Every artwork is commissioned and built specifically for your vessel.
No generic — only precise, technically accurate illustrations designed for long-term display.
How does the commission process work?
Select your boat model, choose your customization level, complete the personalization form, upload your reference photos, and proceed to checkout.
Every order is reviewed before production begins to ensure accuracy.
What information is included in the portraits?
Manufacturer, model, boat name, sail number — with optional owner name and club. All text is provided by the customer on the product page and integrated into the design, while the overall layout remains consistent to preserve the refined composition.
What photos are required as references for an illustration?
To create an accurate illustration of your boat, we ask that you upload a few clear reference photos on the product page.
Clear side profile images and any visible modification details.
The more precise the references, the more accurate the final illustration.
Can I order a reprint of a previous commission?
If you have previously commissioned a piece, you may contact us to order a reprint. Your artwork will be reproduced from the original design, with no additional customization fee.
Do you design for yacht clubs or regattas?
Yes. Contour Regatta Studio creates visual identity systems, official event posters, and bespoke awards for yacht clubs and regattas. For club or event inquiries, please contact us directly.
